Internet Explorer 6 Shortcuts
In a recent Tutor Tip (Netscape
7 Shortcuts), I gave you a list of keyboard shortcuts for Netscape
7. Believing in the "equal time" doctrine, here are shortcuts for Internet
Explorer 6.
Using Shortcuts
In the tables below, are keystroke combinations. To perform
a command, press the buttons listed together at the same time. For example,
to
copy, it gives Ctrl+C as the command. This means that you should press
Ctrl (Control key) and C (the letter C) at the same time. The plus
sign (+) means that you must press two keys surrounding the plus sign
simultaneously. If there is more than one plus sign (such as Ctrl+Shift+C),
it means that all three buttons surrounding the plus sign must be pressed
at the same time. The commands are not case sensitive, so Ctrl+C is
the same as Ctrl+c.
Note: Some keyboard shortcuts perform different functions based on cursor
location (focus). For example, if you press Home while viewing a web
page, Netscape will move to the top of the web page. However, if you
press Home while the cursor is in a text field, the cursor will go to
the beginning of the text field.
